National Assembly Begins Investigation On Fuel Scarcity

The National Assembly, on Thursday commenced investigation into the fuel scarcity being experienced across the country.

The public hearing is aimed at resolving the crisis and finding a lasting solution to the problem.

Stakeholders at the investigative hearing include, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Maikanti Baru and petroleum marketers.

Others are Trade unions in the oil and gas sector among others.
